1. Definitions

"Project" means PVPUtils, including its source code, assets, documents, build scripts, configuration files, and related files.

"Original Author" means Nachoneko_miao.

"Contributors" means individuals or entities who have contributed code, assets, documentation, ideas, fixes, or other copyrightable material to PVPUtils and whose contributions have been accepted into the Project.

"Copyright Holders" means the Original Author and the Contributors, each holding rights in their respective contributions.

"Derivative Work" means any project, mod, client, fork, modified version, copied code, port, rewrite based on this Project, or any work that includes substantial parts of this Project.

"Commercial Use" means any use intended for commercial advantage or monetary compensation, including but not limited to selling the software, paid downloads, paid modpacks, paid clients, advertisements, sponsorship income, subscription access, paid server/client bundles, or using the Project to promote paid services.

2. Ownership

The Original Author retains copyright and ownership of the original Project.

Each Contributor retains copyright in their own contribution, unless they have explicitly transferred those rights in writing.

By submitting a contribution to the Project, each Contributor grants the Original Author and the Project a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, distribute, sublicense under this license, and maintain that contribution as part of PVPUtils.

Contributors do not grant permission for their contributions to be used outside the terms of this license.

3. Contributor Protection

Contributors are not responsible for how the Project or any Derivative Work is used, modified, distributed, or combined with other software.

No Contributor provides any warranty, support obligation, maintenance obligation, or guarantee of compatibility.

No Contributor shall be liable for crashes, data loss, account bans, server punishments, security issues, legal disputes, lost profits, or any other damages arising from the use, modification, or distribution of the Project or any Derivative Work.

Attribution to the Project must not imply that any Contributor endorses, approves, maintains, or is responsible for any Derivative Work unless that Contributor has explicitly agreed in writing.

4. Permissions

You may:

1. View, study, and learn from the source code.
2. Use the Project for personal, non-commercial purposes.
3. Modify the Project for personal, non-commercial purposes.
4. Distribute modified or unmodified copies of the Project only under the conditions of this license.
5. Use parts of the Project in your own project only if your project fully complies with this license.

5. Non-Commercial Restriction

Commercial Use is not permitted.

You may not sell, rent, sublicense, monetize, include in paid products, include in paid modpacks, use for advertisement revenue, or otherwise commercially exploit the Project or any Derivative Work.

6. Source Code Requirement

Any Derivative Work that is distributed publicly or privately must provide complete corresponding source code.

The source code must be reasonably accessible to recipients of the Derivative Work.

You may not distribute a closed-source Derivative Work based on this Project.

7. License Inheritance

Any Derivative Work must be licensed under this same license or a license with equivalent or stricter non-commercial, source-available, attribution, and disclosure requirements.

You may not relicense this Project or any Derivative Work under a more permissive license.

8. Attribution Requirement

Any use, modification, distribution, or Derivative Work must clearly credit:

Attribution must be placed in a visible location, such as the README, project description, mod page, about page, credits page, or documentation.
