Pre-Required Features:

1. Server Side Feature: Piglins should not run from Zombified Piglins and defend themselves from Wither Skeletons properly. Piglins should also stop targetting hoglins during a Wither Skeleton Raid.
   Use any one of the following:
   • Rebalanced Piglins [by SAMEER_99]: A datapack which originally improve Piglins, restricts the spawning of Zombified Piglins and Hoglins in Bastion Remnant. This datapack contains many optional features which can be disabled via a command from current datapack (see Admin Commands section below). Works properly with any server.
2. Client Side Feature: Custom Mob Textures and Item Textures shall be properly visible.
   Use any one of the following:
   • OptiFine [by sp614x]: An all-in-one client side mod which works properly with Vanilla and Forge client. Avoid beta/preview versions.
   • Entity Texture Features [by Traben] and CIT Resewn [by SHsuperCM]: 2 client side mods which works properly with Forge and Fabric client. Avoid beta/preview versions.
   • OptiFabric Modpack (Modrinth) [by Creanter]: An all-in-one client side modpack which works on Fabric client. Modrinth Launcher is required. Avoid beta/preview versions.
   • OptiFabric Modpack (CurseForge) [by Creanter]: An all-in-one client side modpack which works on Fabric client. CurseForge Launcher is required. Avoid beta/preview versions.
3. Server Side Feature: Golden Armor should not be lost on player's death during a Bastion Raid.
   Use any one of the following:
   • Change default gamerule of minecraft: Use the command /gamerule keepInventory true to ensure that players do not lose anything upon death.
   • Keep Some Inventory: A datapack/mod which retains equipment upon player's death but still drops resources. It works properly with Vanilla, Forge, Fabric, and Quilt server.
   • Keep Inventory Control: A mod that gives you control over which types of items will be kept and which dropped when a player dies. It works properly with Fabric server.

Introduction:

This datapack adds a Wither Skeleton raid in Bastion Remnant, just like an illager raid in villages. It supports minecraft versions from 1.16.2 to 1.21.1.

Mob Stats:

1. Captain Wither Skeleton:
   • HP ❤: 50 (25 hearts)
   • Armor 🛡️: Captain's Golden Helmet (Unbreakable)
   • Weapon ⚔️: Golden Axe
   • Kill Reward 💀: Wither Omen Effect (shows black smoke particles)
   • Spawn 🔁: Nether Fortresses, Raids


2. Raider Wither Skeleton:
   • HP ❤: 24 (12 hearts)
   • Armor 🛡️: Random
   • Weapon ⚔️: Random
   • Additions during deadly raid mode 💀:
     • Iron Armor + Enchantment
     • Diamond Armor + Enchantment
     • Iron Weapon + Enchantment
     • Diamond Weapon + Enchantment
     • Speed++
   • Spawn 🔁: Raids


3. Bastion Golem (Disabled by default):
   • HP ❤: 75 (37.5 hearts)
   • Behaviour : Neutral
   • Spawn 🔁: Bastion Remnants (Piglins create it to defend themselves)

Working:

• Piglin Brute's behaviour has been changed to neutral. It will only attack the player if the player does not have gold armor.
• Bastion Remnants does not contain lava anymore. This change not only makes it easy for players to stay safe during raid, but also makes it easy for Wither Skeletons to move better instead of getting stuck in lava. In addition, with this change, piglins can roam freely in their Bastion.
• Mob Spawners in Bastion Remnant are now replaced with Charged Respawn Anchors.
• Raid will start when a player with Wither Omen Effect enters a Bastion Remnant.
• Piglins and Piglin Brutes will not attack the players(with golden armor) under any condition during a raid, even if the players accidentally hit or kill any of them. Bastion Golem however, does get angry if a player accidentally hits it.
• Every wave of raid is led by one Captain Wither Skeleton, so the players will have to fight atleast one Captain each wave.
• During the start of each wave, wither skeleton raiders will spawn 4-10 blocks outside of Bastion Remnant. Once they are in, they will find every Piglin and try to kill it. Your job is to stop each wave of wither skeletons from killing the piglins.
• Number of raid waves vary according to game difficulty:
• Easy: 6 waves
• Normal: 7 waves
• Hard: 8 waves
• In this raid, players do not get a bell to reveal the enemies through walls. Instead, there is a new mechanism. Wither Skeletons will glow for 5 seconds upon spawn, and after that, they will randomly glow and reveal themselves. Be sure to look for them at the very start of each wave, just so you will know their exact location. Wither Skeletons glow red in color.
• Piglins will also glow and reveal their location to you for assistance. Good part is, Piglins glow alot often when the "Raid" bar is recharging, so, players can take that as an advantage to reach them, to guard them. Another good part is, Piglins will also glow when they are in danger.
• Several Piglins will prepare their charged respawn anchor to help players respawn.
• A display counter "Allies Remaining" will show the number of piglins remaining above player's hotbar.

Advancements:

• Voluntary Exile : Kill a Captain Wither Skeleton. Maybe consider staying away from the bastion remnants for the time being.
• Hero of the Bastion Remnant : Successfully defend a bastion from a raid.
• Unexpected Allies : Bastion savior, now guarded by grateful piglins.
• Mob Discovered: Bastion Golem : Bastion Golem has 75 HP, it can only be created by Piglins inside the Bastion Remnant to defend themselves from hostile mobs and players. It is made of highly dense gold blocks so it does not crack like iron golem.

  Obtain Spawn Egg of specifed mob

• /function toggles:bastion_raid

  Opens the toggleable features' config:
  1. Allow Archer Wither Skeletons in Raids : When Enabled, Wither Skeletons will also spawn with a bow during raid.
  2. Allow Bastion Golems to spawn : When Enabled, Bastion Golem will spawn in the Bastion Remnant.
  3. Deadly Raid Mode : When Enabled, raids will become alot difficult.
  4. Disable optional features of Rebalanced Piglins : This option will disable all the unnecessary optional features of Rebalanced Piglins datapack.

  Uninstall this datapack removing all the features.
