This is the generic readme file for all versions of my "More Recipes by Selah" datapack.
Please visit the Modrinth website for more details of each pack.

WARNING: IF YOU DOWNLOADED THIS FROM A SOURCE OTHER THAN MODRINTH, IT IS NOT AN AUTHENTIC VERSION
AND MAY (or may not) CONTAIN VIRUSES OR MALWARE.

THE ONLY VALID DOWNLOAD IS https://modrinth.com/datapack/more-recipes-by-selah

Starting with installation:
Put the datapack in your "/AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/saves/[Your World Here]/datapack" folder.
***DO NOT put the datapack in your "/AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/resourcepacks" folder.***

If you changed where Minecraft loads from, find that location and use that "saves" folder.

For servers, put it in your world folder that matches where your server.properties file says.

For advanced users:
IF you want to store it in your ".minecraft" folder,
CREATE a folder called "datapack" and put it there.

From there, when you create a world and go to add datapacks,
you can simply go to this folder and grab what you need.

NOTE: SOME VERSIONS WILL SHOW INCOMPATIBLILITY.
This is because the "pack_format" does not match the current version.
As long as the pack_format is older than or the same as the version you are using,
everything should load fine as long as it's within the same major version.
Known exceptions: dye and stone slab recipes in version 1.0.x will not work in 1.1.x or higher.

If the pack_format is newer than the version you are using,
everything SHOULD work, BUT it is UNTESTED!

There are some packs that are just broken when upgrading from one version to the next.
ALWAYS use the pack associated with the version as listed on Modrinth.

This pack was made by Selah (AspieGamer13).

B marks changes in either the "Pack Format" version or the game version itself
(this includes changes to the "Format Range")
C marks minor changes or fixes

There are two types of FULL releases for this pack:
 * More Recipes: A balance of Quality of Life recipes while still feeling Vanilla
 * All Recipes: Every recipe, even if it completely breaks the balance of the game

There are two additional types of releases for more fine-tuned control of what you get:
 * Beta: Every recipe in "More Recipes" sub-divided into seven (7) categories
 * Alpha: EVERY recipe sub-divided into sub-categories based on the Beta categories

Datapacks were not a thing before 1.13. There is no way to make these compatible older than 1.13.

Major breaking changes to each version:
 * 2.0.0 MC 1.17: Advancement Format change - custom recipe "condition" ("items")
 * 3.0.0 MC 1.20.5: Recipe Format change - recipe "result"
 * 4.0.0 MC 1.21: Folder Name change
 * 5.0.0 MC 1.21.2: Recipe Format change - shaped "key" and shapeless "ingredients"
